Comembo Elementary School, Makati

The One Million Books Campaign was able to donate 1,024 copies each of Safe Space and #YOUThink that covers the whole student population plus the teachers of Comembo Elementary School. The books were physically turned over to Comembo Elementary School on May 5, 2021. And just days after they were distributed to the kids via their study modules, some teachers had already included it in the class discussion!

One of the teachers, Mr. Jose Mari Cabaccan opened a Padlet page where students could share what they learned from #YOUThink and it felt like a direct line to the students, which was great. We really appreciated that and we are looking to incorporate padlet into our Campaign as a feedback tool.

We have received fantastic and encouraging feedback from the school, and it is motivation for us to want to do more and better with our Campaign.
