To advocate for safe spaces even in the digital world, CANVAS and Lipa-based The Bookmark Project teamed up to educate Batangueño children about online safety.
The students received copies of our book “Safe Space: A Kid’s Guide to Data Privacy”, a helpful tool for safeguarding children’s online privacy and strengthening their social media privacy settings. Given along with the CANVAS books were bookmarks handmade by The Bookmark Project.
This bookgiving activity demonstrated engaging ways to teach valuable topics. CANVAS and The Bookmark Project is one in using art to enlighten, encourage, and empower children.
