Our books found new homes in the children from Habitat Communities!
Habitat for Humanity has tirelessly served 140,000 Filipino families and counting with decent housing. Last year, Habitat took two trips for their bookgiving, one to CSC Happy Homes in Talisay, Cebu last March 1, and another to their community in Silay City, Negros Occidental last March 27. The kids patiently lined up to receive CANVAS books which they can now call their own.
With a dignified home should come access to books. The presence of books in communities can improve literacy and give children better chances for a bright future.
