MANILA, Philippines — A children's book inspired by the works of Benedicto “BenCab” Cabrera was recently launched.

Titled “BenCab Activity Book for Children: Imagine, Play, Color, Learn," the book written by Karen Joy Desamparado-Foronda was released as part of the celebration of BenCab's 50 years in the art industry.

The 74-year-old soft spoken artist, who started his career at 23, collaborated with the Center for Art, New Ventures and Sustainable Development (Canvas) for the book.

Book purchases will aid in distributing books to underprivileged children in remote areas and disaster struck provinces. For a single book purchase, two will be donated to kids in need.
