The Academy of Dentistry International Gives Books to Culiat Elementary School

A story can inspire a child who will grow up and pass it on to the next generation.
The generations of academicians from the Academy of Dentistry International - Republic of the Philippines Section celebrated their 46th Anniversary and 23rd Biennial Convocation with the inspirational educator Sabrina Ongkiko as the guest speaker. After her moving speech about the impact of teaching, the Academy surprised her with books from CANVAS. 250 books were gifted to her Grades 5 and 6 students and their library at Culiat Elementary School. Other books were generously given to other satellite libraries in Quezon City and to teachers based in provinces.
Teacher Sab is passionate about passing on love and hope to her students. These things can also be found in stories. When she distributed the CANVAS books during their limited face-to-face classes, her students expressed excitement. They were grateful for the new books that they received.
