Marikina Elementary School Journalism Club
March 28, 2023 – Marikina Elementary School
Excitement buzzed around the classroom of the Marikina Elementary School (MES) Journalism Club. A total of 50 students from Grades 3 to 6 joined the orientation day. They had much to celebrate, since the members passed the club’s screening process. Their first meeting was made more special thanks to the CANVAS books they received.
The students happily browsed their new books. They looked forward to reading the books together during their weekly club meetings.
When a love for reading is supported and nurtured, children become the storytellers of tomorrow. We thank the MES Journalism Club Coordinators Ms. Julie Nombrado and Ms. Neriza Timola, and MES Teacher Librarian Mrs. Ritchel Odron for making this bookgiving campaign a part of your school activities!
